Chip Kidd

Chip Kidd video responses.

Chip is such a character. Each video talks about the importance of process. When starting at the beginning stages of an idea, it will obviously be rough. Changes are made further down the line, but there are ALWAYS ways to improve a concept and take it just a bit further. It is absolutely crucial that one considers the audiences point of view.

All of these images and works are appealing to me in the way that each one utilizes space almost perfectly. Color sometimes is very bold and apparent, while sometimes it can be minimal while keeping an even balance throughout the area space.

Upon first viewing these images, I could immediately tell that these were incredibly striking. Each image is so unique and different. They all have a sort of imaginative feel to them. They are very bold and give a feeling of largeness. I could almost see each image as an album cover.
